VION N.V. appoints new CFO

VION is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr Ton Vernaus as Chief Financial Officer and member of VION N.V.'s Executive Board. Ton Vernaus (44) will succeed CFO Ton Lammers who will be retiring at the end of 2009 because he has reached a pensionable age. Ton Vernaus is currently the CFO of LeasePlan Nederland NV in Almere. Prior to this, he worked for various Unilever companies in financial positions. Ton Vernaus has wide-ranging, international knowledge and experience in the fields of Finance, Tax, Legal, ICT and M&A in both Food and non-Food. Ton Vernaus will start his new position as of 1 September 2009.
